Guitar Lessons for kids

About Joshua LeBlanc (Owner and Lead Instructor)
Lafayette School of Guitar was founded in 2017 with the purpose of providing the best quality guitar lessons in the Lafayette area. Since that time we have helped over one hundred students to improve their guitar playing.
I am part of a network of guitar teachers around the world called the Elite Guitar Teachers Inner Circle. This helps me to make sure that I am up to date on the most efficient methods of teaching to provide you with the highest levels of learning.
I attended the Guitar Teaching Super Summit International in 2018 and 2022 which is a six day intensive event that focused on delivering the best teaching methods and approaches to help insure that my students will learn in the most efficient ways possible.
I am a graduate of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Music with a concentration in Jazz Studies on guitar. In addition, I have over 20 years of experience of playing and performing as a guitarist.
I have played over 500 performances throughout the country with various bands as well as performing solo. I'm comfortable with several styles (including but not limited to rock, blues, and jazz) and know what it takes to be a great guitarist which helps me to get you to the level that you want to be at, whether it is a touring guitarist with a band, playing songs at an open mic night, or just enjoying being able to play at home with no frustration.
